Roei Evgi – Israeli Jewelry Artist

I was born in Rosh Pina, a small town in the Upper Galilee, not far from Safed. From a young age, I was drawn to the aesthetics and beauty of gemstones, a fascination that set me on a journey to become a skilled jeweler and metalsmith.
At first, I was self-taught, creating mala necklaces—hand-knotted gemstone and bead necklaces in a traditional Indian style—for my school friends and even selling them to my teachers. Later, I worked in a jewelry and gemstone factory, gaining hands-on experience. In 2000, I formally began my professional studies at the Jewelry Department of Tel Hai Academic College.
In 2001, I advanced my training at Maziar – The School of Jewelry Arts in Ramat Gan. Under the guidance of master jeweler Maziar Yeshurun (Azar Adibi), I studied classical and contemporary jewelry design, including wax carving and model-making techniques. After graduating with honors, I continued to refine my skills with Maziar, specializing in the fine art of setting diamonds and gemstones.

From the very start of my career, I opened a small workshop in my home, where I honed my craft as a jeweler and designer. Two years later, I was ready for the next step—my own studio. I wanted to stay close to my roots, and I found the perfect location in the heart of Old Rosh Pina, within the historic “Restoration Site,” where tradition and creativity blend seamlessly.
For nearly 25 years, I’ve been designing jewelry—creating collections, listening to my clients' wishes, and balancing timeless craftsmanship with evolving trends. I consider myself an eclectic artist. My aesthetic philosophy is that there is no such thing as a passing trend—every style has its place and can be blended or adapted to suit a unique vision.
Using high-quality gold, diamonds, and gemstones, along with the most advanced metalsmithing tools, I design and handcraft each piece—from engagement and wedding rings in antique, classic, and modern styles to fully customized creations tailored to each client, making them an integral part of the design process.
In addition, my deep connection to Jewish spirituality inspires me to create Judaica and Kabbalistic jewelry. Many of my designs are engraved with prayers and blessings, drawing from Jewish mysticism.

As the world around me evolves, I evolve with it—always in motion, always inspired by the past, and always looking ahead with curiosity.
